The main storyman
Ted Sears, when he was hired by Walt Disney in 1931, already had a solid career in films, but also in animation, as he had worked for Raoul Barré and Max Fleischer. His first contribution seems to be the Silly Symphony Babes in the Woods and from there, he was associated in each and every Disney production until his death.
Sears’s proverbial sense of humor helped him submit gag ideas and his contribution to the history of the studio cannot be overstated. He is almost systematically listed among the participants of the story meetings for Snow White.
