Snow White in Icelandic
This 1978 LP is the Icelandic version of the American 1966 ST-3906 Disneyland LP. This version is adapted, narrated and sung by an unamed cast. The Icelandic adaptor is not known either.
The actual music for the film is used but the Icelandic voices were newly recorded, especially for this record, since there was no Icelandic version of the film at the time. Consequently, they would not match the film in some places, like in the verses by Bashful in The Silly Song, which are quite over the top.
The same illustrations as in the American version grace the cover and the inside pages, where the listener ca also read along the story.
Although the songs are listed on the back cover, the story is told in two continuous tracks, one for each side of the record.
