If you see the wonder of a fairy tale
This book-and-CD set follows the format—popular at the time—where the lucky owner can listen to the story of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs narrated by a storyteller, while following along with the illustrated text in a small booklet. Two songs adapted from the film are included at the end of the recording.
But here, the soloist on the second song is Anni-Frid Lyngstad, on the verge of becoming a star under the pseudonym Frida, when she would join the famous group ABBA.
The narration is very basic: the musical cue inviting the listener to turn the page is the only music to be heard, and no sound effects are added to the narrator’s voice, which is relatively monotonous.
