Danish posters

Find on this page the posters of different sizes used to promote the film during its successive releases in Denmark.

1938

Gloria-Film A/S released Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in Denmark under the title Snehvide og de syv dværge, in a Danish-language version. The poster features the classic Gustaf Tenggren design, with the tagline ‘The film the whole world has admired and enjoyed,’ along with the mention ‘With Danish song and speech.’

1973

Fox-MGM re-releases Snow White in Denmark in 1973. Again, the poster reads: ‘With Danish song and speech.’

1982

Nordisk Films A/S re-releases Snow White in 1982 with a new Danish version, as the poster claims. Small ads at the bottom read: “See the lovely Snow White books at your local store” and “also check out Snow White records and cassettes.”

1987

For the 50th anniversary of the film, Snow White comes out in Denmark with a poster similar to the American one, that reads “In the Danish language”.

1992

For its 1992 re-release, the Danish poster also reads “In the Danish language”.
