Richard Creedon worked as a scriptwriter for KHJ radio. Walt Disney hired him, along with Ted Osborne, to work on a Mickey Mouse radio show which failed after a few episodes. Creedon was then transferred to the publicity department under Tom Wood and Ted Osborne went to write for the comic strip department with Floyd Gottfredson.
Creedon was instrumental in getting animator Eric Larson hired in 1933.
He wrote a story outline for Snow White as early as October 1934.
