Title and Ice
In an episode of the Disneyland television show, Walt Disney uses the elaborate stop-motion title sequence from The Parent Trap as a springboard to revisit title sequences from his earlier films. Naturally, the first—and most prominently featured—is the original title cel from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. However, this particular cel had actually been created just three years earlier, for the film’s 1958 reissue.
What better place to promote an upcoming release than a Disneyland episode? This one even includes a commercial for Snow White and the Three Stooges, the 20th Century Fox feature.
