A young talent
Although a relative newcomer when she was chosen to play Snow White in the 2025 remake of the classic animated film, Rachel Zegler was an accomplished singer and actress who had just gotten her big break in Steven Spielberg’s version of West Side Story where she was able to display her talent in the role of María.
She then ventured in the popular genre of super heros with Shazam! Fury of the Gods as Anthea, and became Lucy Gray Baird in The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes. In the horror comedy Y2K, she is Laura opposite Jaeden Martell and Julian Dennison.
Aside from Snow White, she also gives her voice to another Princess: she is Ellian in Spellbound (2024) with a score by Disney composer Alan Menken.
Social media Princess
Although discreetly for obvious contractual reasons, Rachel Zegler gave more or less indirect information about Snow White through her popular social media accounts, from moments with her costar and friend Andrew Burnap, to the date of the film wrap of the retakes in London. Fans could get a peak at her getting ready for shooting in her trailer. She also documented her visits to the Disney parks with iconic photographs around the Snow White ride or other nods to the film.
