This program was made for the Tasmanian premiere of Snow White on December 23, 1938 showing in the town of Swansea, Australia. The theater showed Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs three times a day at 10.30 a.m., 2.15 and 7.55 p.m.

Aside from the usual advertisements, there are chapters focusing on the film’s “quaint furniture”, more specifically in the dwarfs’ cottage, the “Song Hits”, the statistics, fashion (and the Cartier bracelets), Snow White herself (“Screen’s mystery star”), and of course the evening’s program:

  • Cinesound Australian Newsreel
  • There Goes the Groom, directed by Joseph Santley
  • A Universal International Gazette
  • A preview of It’s in the Air starring George Formby
  • Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
