This book is clearly aimed for small children with a short attention span. It is only 12 pages long, counting the covers, and has little text, and yet covers a new story every other page. The animals encountered in the story of Snow White get the spotlight here: they play practical jokes, race, exchange food. The main interest of the book lies in the illustrations. No artist is credited for them, nor for the text.

The full title on the cover is “Walt Disney’s Animals from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and the reference number is 922. On the second page is the “Copyright 1938, Walt Disney Enterprise” and a reminder that the book was “printed in the U.S.A.” by the “Whitman Publishing Company, Racine, Wisconsin.”
