C.J. Deen’s Uitgevers-Maatschappij NV Sneeuwwitje book

This storybook was published in the Netherlands in 1938 by C.J. Deen’s Uitgevers-Maatschappij NV, Amsterdam with the authorization of Walt Disney – Mickey Mouse Ltd.

The book cover is red and the dust jacket’s dominant color is yellow, with two Gustav Tenggren illustrations richly reproduced on it. The title in Dutch is “Sneeuwwitje en de zeven dwergen”. The author of the book is unknown. The illustrations are mostly black and white reproductions of Tom Wood or Gustaf Tenggren drawings. Four of them are printed in color.

The book was sold in Belgian too for 20 francs, as an advert in De Standaard on August 18, 1938 shows.
