This 24-page catalog (including the covers) was printed to promote the products sold for the 1938-1939 winter holidays in the Au Bon Marché store, still located today at 24 rue de Sèvres in the 17th arrondissement of Paris.

While the color cover inevitably depicts Snow White, and more specifically the Clélia dolls based on characters from the film, it’s astonishing to find no Snow White-related merchandise – not even the dolls themselves – on any of the catalog’s many pages! It does, however, provide a fascinating historical record of what was sold during the festive season in this Parisian temple of luxury.
