Le Point is a French weekly news magazine, founded in 1972, with a right-wing editorial line. It is still published today. When Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs was re-released in France in 1973, it published a brief but laudatory review of the film.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs: 1938, American re-release, by Walt Disney

by R.B. (December 10, 1973)

Constantly rejuvenated and refurbished, Walt Disney’s great classic remains unmatched: the perfection of animation, the effectiveness of an archetypal imagery that plunges deep into the unconscious. Disney succeeds even more with his frightening characters than with the charming stars: the witch nearly eclipses Snow White, but her defeat completes the fable as the dawn succeeds the night. To be seen every ten years and in perpetuity.
