Some Day Her Prince Will Come
This French 78rpm disc was released in 1938.
“Heigh-Ho” is sung by a male chorus, unlike some other commercial recordings, this one actually uses the simple lyrics and the melody of the film, which may account for its relative short length.
Although the title of the second song is “Un jour mon Prince viendra” on the label, Jean Visconti did not dare sing the original French lyrics and changed them so that the song is no longer about the singer but someone else.
