A Franco-American collaboration
The exhibition is a collaborative effort between the then newly founded Musée Art Ludique and the Disney Animation Research Library.
The chronologically designed exhibition opens with a large reproduction of a production drawing of Snow White in the Forest (sequence 3A, scene 18B) and several concept drawings and a production background from sequence 2A. Of the 350 works of art on show, about twenty of them were of Snow White.
To mark the occasion, Le Figaro magazine published a special issue on Walt Disney and the exhibition.
I definitively feel that we cannot do the fantastic things, based on the real, unless we first know the real.
