This storybook was published in Denmark in 1938 by Hasselbalch, Copenhagen and printed by S.L. Moller with the authorization of Walt Disney – Mickey Mouse Ltd. The story of Snow White was adapted from the American text by Mogens Dam, a playwright, screenwriter and lyricist who later collaborated on the 1966 LP of Snow White with Grethe Mogensen.
The book is inspired by the American book published David McKay, and the covers are very similar, although the drawings inside the book differ somewhat. The title in Danish is “Snehvide og de syv dværge”.
