Continental presents Branca de Neve
This album of two 78 rpm shellac discs contains the story of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, told in four parts by Olga Nobre.. The discs are housed in a blue sleeve featuring the heads of the title characters in a circle reminiscent of the shape of discs, at the center of which are two bells surrounded by holly. This record seems to have been released in December 1948, just in time to become the ideal Christmas gift.
The story was re-recorded a few years later with a partially different cast and a color cover.
The cast is listed on the back cover, along with the name of the adapter and conductor. Below this list are the lyrics of the songs heard on the recording: Com um sorriso e uma cançao (With a Smile and a Song), Uma cançao (One Song), Eu quero… (I’m Wishing), Eu vou, eu vou (Heigh-Ho, Heigh-Ho).
