A French jazz record
Despite the very French origins of this 45 rpm stereo record, these are reinterpretations of four songs from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in a New Orleans jazz version. Marc Laferrière plays saxophone in the style of Sidney Bechet and even sings “With a Smile and a Song”, imitating Louis Armstrong.
There are also two 45 rpm discs, VS 625 F and VS 626 F, each featuring two of the songs on this record.
