Roy and Walt Disney, along with their wives Edna and Lillian, took a trip to Europe midway through production of Snow White from June, 2 to August 5, 1935. Walt’s orders to Dave Hand, Wilfred Jackson and Ben Sharpsteen were that Ted Sears’ decisions regarding the story developement of the ongoing productions would be considered final during his absence.
